Last year we used some of the apples from the Windmill Hill City Farm orchards to create a new cider with Branch Cider Co ready to kick off the Spring. The result is a soft, juicy, fruity blend of Windmill Hill City Farm apples with Branch's Bristol bittersweet apples. With a pear drop aroma and green apple, banana and smokey notes, this 6.5% medium sweet cider will be available at the Windmill Hill Market. We'll also have a quick talk with Ed Gibson from Branch Cider in the outdoor amphitheatre as well as some apple and spring related poetry as we wind our way down to the farm orchards and thank them for the forthcoming harvest.
